Middletown Area Schools Credit Union offers low cost financial products and services. The only requirement to open an account for a qualified member is $5.00 deposit into a shares (savings) account. From this share account, we have many services to fit your needs.


Safe Deposit Boxes

We have four sizes of Safe Deposit Boxes available. Prices vary according to size.

VISA Credit Cards

We offer Visa Gold and Visa Classic credit cards. There is no annul fee and the rate is fixed at 12.96% . Click here to make an on-line payment from your checking account. You can also view transactions, print statements, and check your balance.

Verified by Visa: Get an extra layer of security when you shop online. In addition to our other ways of preventing, detecting, and resolving fraud, we offer Verified by Visa, a free, simple-to-use service that confirms your identity with an extra password when you make an online transaction.

How it works:

  1. Activate the Verified by Visa feature – Enroll your credit card in the Verified by Visa program now, on your participating card issuer’s website or while shopping online.
  2. Shop at participating online merchants – Visit online merchants that display the Verified by Visa sybol for an added layer of protection.
  3. Enjoy enhanced security – Enjoy added peace of mind. Activate Verified by Visa on your Visa credit card.

Activate the Verified by Visa feature: It’s easy and only takes a few moments to activate your card. You can activate on the secure Visa site, or during the checkout process at a participating online merchant. However you activate, your information is protected.

Go to and search Verified by Visa.

Once your card is activated, your card number will be recognized whenever you shop at a participating Verified by Visa merchant. You will enter your password in the Verified by Visa window, your identity will be verified and the transaction will be completed. In stores that are not yet Verified by Visa enabled, your Visa card will continue to work as usual.

**MASCU is asking that everyone with a Visa credit card to please regiter your card. This is an added layer of security. You should register your card even if you do not make online purchases, the thieves do. If you choose not to implement this security measure, you may be held responsible for any fraud that happens on your card.**

ATM/Debit Cards

We offer ATM/Debit cards with our checking accounts. You can use our debit card anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Surcharge free ATMs are available via the MoneyPass Network. If your debit card is lost or stolen call 513-422-2392 (leave message if after hours)

Mastercard Secure Code

MasterCard SecureCode is a new service from MasterCard and your card issuer that provides added protection when you buy online. There is no need to get a new MasterCard or Maestro Card. You choose your own personal MasterCard SecureCode and it is never shared with any merchant. A private code means added protection against unauthorized use of your debit card when you shop online.

Everytime you pay online with your MasterCard or Maestro card, a box pops up from you card issuer asking you for your personal SecureCode, just like the bank does at the ATM. In seconds, your card issuer confrims it’s you and allows your purchase to be completed.

Even if you do not use your debit card online MASCU is asking all members with debit cards to sign up with SecureCode – this will be a huge help if your card is compromised. The fraudsters will not be able to make any purchases online because they won’t have your private code. In addition, MASCU will not be responsible for fradulent purchases if you do not sign up for SecureCode. There is no charge for this service – just peace of mind.

Check Orders

Need to reorder checks? Click on the following link and follow the instructions on the Deluxe website. If you have any problems or we have never ordered your checks through Deluxe, please call us at 513-422-2392. We are in the process of changing our check order providers. If you are still ordering your checks through Harland Clarke, you may continue to do so. Harland Clarke has recently notified us that effective October 28, 2012, they will be increasing delivery and handling charges. Please call us if you have any questions or need any assistance.
